What is Copyright?

It's my right to protect and control the use and display of my images.

The low resolution images displayed on my site have limited value compared to my highest resolution files. Click here for more information on resolution. But even the low resolution images are still the property of the photographer and any unauthorized commercial or private use will be vigorously protected.

There are many hungry and aggressive copyright lawyers just waiting to prosecute a private or commercial site for unauthorized display of any images of mine. I can always easily prove it's my image since I have possession of the original film. It's easy money for the legal team and the transgressor / "poacher" ends up paying me the highest stock rates possible. So don't poach or pirate my images!

If you interested in displaying an image on your site legally, then simply contact us and we'll let you know the nominal cost and publication requirements.

Unauthorized private use is frowned upon, but generally tolerated. I'm always much more "understanding" if there is a link (I prefer a hotspot) and/or credit letting your friends know who took the shot.
